Steve Jobs-Apple : End of a Saga ??

We all must have read the news today that Mr Steve Jobs, CEO, Apple has take a six months medical leave. This clearly indicates that all's not well with his health. The speculation were rifle that he is suffering from some really serious medical issues from quite some time and now it seems that situation has taken a turn towards worst.

Being an ardent fan of Apple and Mr Jobs, I have been following his journey in life from quite some time. He started Apple computers from the Garage of his friend and co-founder in Apple, Steve Wozniak. They started by building Apple II computers and then went on to give the world the famous "Macintosh". The Mac OS which was based on windows driven command came much earlier then Windows 3.11 and 95.

When Mr Jobs was removed from Apple around 1996 or 97 the sales of Apple went crashing down. The person who started this company had more passion then responsibilities attached to it. IBM in the year 1993, after its own OS/2 bombed, offered Apple to build user friendly software (based on Mac OS) for its and all other IBM compatible PC's. Being cynical and always wanting to make a close and proprietary OS, Mr Jobs refused the offer. We all know who grabbed the opportunity and went on to become the richest man in the world.

In his second innings, Steve Jobs has already turned the fortune of this company. The market crashed 7% yesterday by the mere news that he is taking six months medical leave. iPods, Mac Books, Macbook Air, iMac, iPhone are all products launched under his tenure. He can work 18-20 hours a day, does not take bath for 4-5 days, lives in his office cabin, would wear his favorite blue jeans for 15-20 days at a stretch, had worn business suit with Tie for only 3-4 times in his entire life, sleeps on floor with mattress etc.*

May god give him courage to fight this battle and he comes out of it in flying colors like always.
